Form DS-160. Problem uploading photo

I have been trying to upload a photo all day. I keep getting an error:

Server Error in '/QotW' Application.

Invalid operation. The connection is closed.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.InvalidOperationException: Invalid operation. The connection is closed.

I then cannot continue after this. I hit the back arrow and it returns to this message. The same thing happens when I refresh. Does anyone know if there is a technical problem with the form right now. My fiance' has her interview in a few days. We have been waiting so long. We really don't want to delay anymore. Please, somebody help.

You may get these errors because of the size of the photo. The photo you are supposed to upload is passport size. If you have a passport photo, scan it in and crop it. Then it should work.

7/1/17 I-751 returned rejected (multiple items)

7/3/17 I-751 mailed again with signature confirmation

7/6/17 second I-751 delivered and signed for by Daniel Manchaca

7/10/17  Check Cashed

7/10/17  NOA

7/22/17  Biometrics letter for 8/2/17

8/02/17 Biometrics appointment DONE

3/05/18 case moved to local office

8/25/18 Extension letter (18 months)

9/29/18 service request submitted

10/06/18 response to service request

10/11/18  approved. No RFE, no interview

10/16/18  approval letter received in the mail

10/19/18 greencard received

I'm trying to upload mines too, as I have to edit my former DS-160 and it won't even let me upload a picture.

I restarted my computer with no success.

Chances are we have to write down our application number and re-try tomorrow, cause the web site isn't working properly.

You may get these errors because of the size of the photo. The photo you are supposed to upload is passport size. If you have a passport photo, scan it in and crop it. Then it should work.

no it doesnt even let us get to that point....we click the button to start the upload photo process and get the error.....

Thanks for all the replies. It seems it's a problem with their website and not a problem with my computer. I'll email the consulate and ask if there is an alternative they will allow since the glitch is on their side. Wish me luck. In the meantime, I'll keep trying.

Hopefully this will get fixed soon, my fiance has his interview scheduled for this Thursday - no clue what would happen if we weren't able to submit this form due to an error on their part. Quite frustrating....

The Swedish embassy also only has a 1 hour window to make calls to ask questions...I emailed them and hopefully will get a reply sooner than Monday afternoon, which is the window they provide for calling them....

I am having the same problem! Cannot upload the photo. All the requirements were correct, scanned a passport photo, it accepted it, then said there was an error uploading photo.

I can get to the review pages but can't go to sign and submit page to get my confirmation!!

How did you guys resolve this? Any advice???
