Hi everyone, ask ko lang kung qualified pa ba ako sa cspa, category ko is IR2, im turning 23 sa june.

date of birth June 4, 1991

priority date: August 24, 2011

Approval date: June 4, 2012

Since you are under IR2 then yes you are covered by CSPA. Your age freezes as soon as the petition has been filed. In your case you were still under 21 when it was filed. Good that its under IIR2. Had it been under F2A youre no longer qualfied.

Im curious though. Whats the latest status of your case? How come it took a year before you get your approval? Is it an approval from USCIS?

meron na ako interview date sa feb 10 na, pero hindi ako nag under f2A, kahit ako di ko alam bakit umabot ng year bago na approve, may possible na ma deny ako for visa? may calculation pa ba CSPA ko? ano age ko nyan sa cspa? approval date ko sa USCIS is june 4, 2012.

Who filed the petition for you? Your biological USC parent?

oo yung tatay ko na USC, na petition ako nung 20 pa lang ako.

Don't worry, hindi ka mag-a-age out kasi once a USC parent files i130 for their child, the child's age automatically freezes. So for immigration purposes, 20 pa rin ang age mo.

You only have to stay single/unmarried until you enter the US.
