Meeting with the US consul in Dakar Senegal

can someone please tell me, how can I set up an appointment with the US consul in Dakar? I am planning to visit Dakar next week and I would like to meet with the consular office to discuss about my family visa problem. According to their website, even USC are seen only by appointment, I have been calling to US consult since last week without success to set up one. their system always said that they are not available, I have also email the consulate but still have not received anything back.

As a USC can I still see a consular officer by walking at the consular, since no one is able to give me an appointment ?

If you don't have a consular issue (new passport, CRBA, emergency USC services) you probaly won't be able to talk to a CO. If your problem is concerning a visa you have to talk to USCIS. Make an infopass appointment for your nearest USCIS office in the US.

Most consular offices do not have sufficient staff for people to come in and discuss their cases outside of the visa interview -- and, usually, there is nothing that can be done anyway if the case isn't ready for interview, is in AP, or is still with USCIS. They can't serve as legal advisors to tell you how to/whether to do something either. Most offices that I am familiar with recommend that you put all of your information and/or explain your concerns in an e-mail that they can respond to, as that allows them to manage their time better.
