WHY, do you not include the Philippines in your study, which I find intereating.,.,.,and is Vermont Service Center known as NBC now??? Just wondering.,..

Just do not know why you would leave out one of the biggest K-1 countries in the world.,.,but nice job.,.,.with WHAY you used!

NBC= National Benefits Center

VSC= Vermont Service Center

Nothing has changed. VSC is just the only service center not adjudicating transferred (from NBC) cases; it's only CSC, TSC and NSC.

The Philippines were left our because of all the expedites. They were not relevant since Nobby was trying to find some sort of pattern, rhyme or reason for regular cases.

Yeah sorry about the confusion, but as others are saying, I excluded the Philippines because most of them are being expedited due to the typhoon. If I kept them in the analysis, it would not give an accurate trend for those who do not have expedited cases, which is the main reason for the analysis.

This is not for K-1s.

The philippines were expedited after the typhoon. Not all but most. So the data from that country will throw off the data. Also, I think the data for NBC is that the files have not been transferred as of now or the file owner has not updated their info. Its really hard to get a true figure because of how the spreadsheets were handled before they were locked and that many people have NOT updated their timelines ETC...

As for Vermont.. Who knows. The files were suppposed to be transferred to NSC, TSC or CSC. If they sent some to VSC, then there isn't enough data for that service center.

They stopped sending new I-130's to the NBC in November and started sending them right to the service centers. I, like a lot of recent I-130 filers, am at the VSC. I don't like the fact that we have no data coming out on them, no not one bit......

The data that I took from the timelines does include 6 petitions that started out at Vermont, but were transferred to the other centers to be approved.

There is also 1 petition that was reported as transferred to Vermont and approved, but I left it out cuz it was an outlier.

Here is a quick review of all the NOA2 (IR1/CR1) for all the service centers put together from the beginning of this year. About 6.6 approvals per day on average. At this rate we would expect about 145 approvals in January. Very pathetic progress indeed.

I'm an early May filer! Wish I could have been added to the approval list! I would have been added already but got a RFE from TSC! Still waiting on the hard copy. Hopefully I'll be added soon.

Thanks for the info. This gives confirmation to my suspicion that Vermont is simply sitting on I-130's, and only God knows when they will actually start adjudicating. Lord help us all.....

Since the transfers are not equally distributed, ot would make more sense if we see percentages of approvals each Centre does:

Statistics for March FILERS:

NSC approvals percentage =74%

TSC approval percentage = 42% ( TSC is soooo behind in March)

CSC APPROVALS percentage =86 %

NSC approvals percentage =34% (NSC is soooo behindin April)

TSC approval percentage = 62%

CSC APPROVALS percentage =82 %

Texas - 47
