Hi,

i filed I-130 while in the US in 2010 to bring sister to the US.

however, i left the US to live abroad and USCIS had sent a notice but no one to receive it in 2011.

i would like to continue the application but i am living abroad.

what should i do? call them and update my address (outside US)? will this be ok?

please advise, how do i proceed with the application.

hi

you can't the purpose to bring a family member is reunification, why would she want to be with you in the US If you don't live there anymore.

or if you decided only to live abroad for a few years, you needed a US domicile, so you should have changed the address to a family member to receive mail in the US and then when you returned, change the address again

but if you have decided to not live in the US, the petition is useless, even if it takes 12 or more years. you will be bringing your sister to live with you in the US.

are you coming back?
