You missed the fact that they filed in January LAST YEAR...so they are way past needing patience, they need answers.

I do understand that they'd all gotten their NOA2's already in the other threads. But why would it be in the "Records" department in Newark? The only time I've heard of a Records department was in those threads where people's files were sent to the wrong place. If they can send it to the wrong place after NOA2, I'm sure that they can send it to the wrong place before NOA2. I think it would behoove the OP to find out exactly where their case is.

Call USCIS, get transferred to Tier 2 and ask that they pinpoint the exact location of your petition. Assuming it really is in the totally wrong place, demand an expedite on the grounds of USCIS error.

Info pass rendered same response from a cross-eyed rude individual that no matter how much I asked him its not fair our file has not been touched since may its ridiculous that nothing has been done... all I kept getting as a response from him was "sorry this is all the information available at this time" same goes for the service requests filed from USCIS... I get letters within 5 days with " there is no further information at this time." I wrote to the OMBUDSMAN i will be hearing from them within 45 days and to be honest with you I am expecting the same redundancy.

The file is in Newark, I have confirmed by attending an infopass. What the most frustrating aspect about that is, that all they told me was, theres nothing you can do but wait and that no there isnt an officer assigned to the case yet. So I feel like I hit a brick wall. Fax sent to Senators office, infopass attended, 3 service requests for expedite, and nothing. Yes its been confirmed three times by tier 2 and Newark that the file is there. Its where it should be, but its just sitting there and no one can tell me why.

Hi, I have they know its in Newark. Infopass appointment was where I was told its in the dept of records at Newark, meaning its there just no assignment to case officer yet.
