We had a post office we were in charge of there. I used to do the pick ups in the evening. I lived in the city, about 5 minutes from Leighton Barracks.

What years? I was there '94-'95.

It works quite well in all advanced economies. Maybe the US economy will reach an advanced state this century, too.

Well, since we haven't, then my stat comparisons on us vs. other non-advanced economies shouldn't have been a problem for you. My, how you swing both ways...

Oh yeah, America is number one among the peers on that one. Nothing to be proud of, really. Not sure how that fits into the discussion either.

well, between what you said here and where you called the US a bunch of knuckle draggers, it seems our "peers" are farther down the socio-economic ladder in your opinion now as opposed to your argument the other day. Unless you are just being wishy-washy in your arguments.

Our peers are further up the ladder - we're lagging behind. Far behind in some areas. Not economically but in just about any other category. While other industrialized nations work to evolve, we seem to do the opposite around here. I know you don't want to hear it. I know you disagree with that assessment. And that is perfectly fine. You don't have to agree with me but I will state my case all the same.
