I feel like I read somewhere the the DS- 156 and DS-156k forms have been replaced with the DS-160. So, does this mean I do not have to bring the DS-156 and 156k to the interview?

On the consulate website when I booked my interview it was on the checklist of things to bring. BUT it was NOT on the Packet 3 checklist.

I'm a little confused on this situation. I emailed the vancouver consulate, but they have not emailed back yet. My interview is in less than a week.

Please reply if you have any information.

There was a cutoff date sometime last year for the old 156 and 156k. The 160 superceded those. You don't need the old ones if you are a recent approval and are filing the 160 now.

Do bring a printout of the completed 160 to the interview, even though they tell you that you don't need one. It can come in handy.

I tried to get a copy of my online submission, but I can't figure it out. It says I can printout a my confirmation but not the whole completed form. Do you know how I can do this?

All you need is the confirmation page

Just wanted to let the fellow Canadians know that theydid NOT need the DS-156's. I emailed the consulate and they said it is replaced by ds-160. They did not ask for it at my interview either. I guess it is different for each country.

THe 156s are not needed anywhere. Someone expressed concern about what if they ask for them,, hence my advice to fill them out and bring them. The worst possible result is that they wasted time filling out an uneeded document.
