Good morning,

me, the beneficiary of the K1, and my fiancèe, the petitioner, got married and now we are collecting the documents for the I485. It seems like a long and hard process but we are on the right way and we are committed to do everything correct in order to not have problems in the future.

So I'm starting this topic and I might be adding questions if more questions will come...

Right now I filled the I485 form, the G325A form, the I765 form, we have multiple copies of the I94 form...

I'm not filling the I693, and I wont send any page of that to USCIS since I did my exams before the consulate interview only 2 months ago so I will just attach my vaccinations records.

I'm now filling the I-131 in order to be able to travel outside of the US in case of emergency or something... in the PART 3 they ask me a "DATE OF INTENDED DEPARTURE", etc... Can I leave it blank since I do not have any trip planned?

Thank you so much. After that I'll be filling the I864...

I will appreciate your help!

LuAl

In regards to your DS-3025 vaccination report, read Nich-Nick's post here to see if you have a properly completed DS-3025:

For the I-131 follow the example forms. You can put any date in the future for the question asking about date of intended departure. You can also put an amount like 2 or 3 weeks for length of time in the next question. Just because you put a date doesn't mean you will travel. Just keep it simple.

Leave the date and length of trip blank, then hand-write Unknown in those boxes after printing out the form. You also do not need any statement as to why you want/need AP when filing with a pending I-485.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to AOS from Family Based Visas - topic is AOS, not K-1 ~
