You will be fine! :) during our interview the IO only asked the basic questions on the i-485. :) like what others said, relax! I myself was nervous too but my husband was so calm. He did all the talking on the interview because he is in the military and the IO was a former Army. :) goodluck!

Hi there smile.png how are you all doing in a new year 2014? wink.png))

I couldn't find a topic similar to mine, or I was just not looking good enough. I just checked my I-485 status on USCIS website, and, suprisingly it says Testing and interview, which means I skipped the Initial review step.. and I am really curious and a bit scared, what that means, that they want to talk to me. I've read somewhere, that not every K-1 visa holder has an interview for his/her first conditional green card, that is why it made me a bit nervous. I sent my application in November, something around the 25th or 26th. Does anyone know what should I expect? Maybe there's a paper missing, or they want to check, if my marriage is a result of a true love? Like always, I am freaking out..

HELP!

We never had an interview for AOS. Filing for ROC in 3 months

We recently went to my wife's interview. The interview was short, the questions centered around the i485 questions to which she answered "no" for all of them, no documents nor photos were requested from us, and the GC was approved on the spot. The interview is not necessarily a bad thing...fear not.

So, I attended the interview today. No main results yet, the IO asked so many questions about our marriage and the times when we were boyfriend/girlfriend, our families, my previous visits in the US, my husband's work and my work, he repeated some questions twice. My feelings are really mixed, the IO joked a little, but in general he was really formal and serious. I think it will be fine, we told the truth about everything. I was told to wait up to 3 or 4 weeks to get my GC (if everything's okay - if something's missing the IO will contact me).

Hoping for the best :)
