I can't see any of the options presented getting the nomination. One could hope that it'll be one of them but I don't see it. Not sure who it'll be but none of the candidates offered in the poll - with the possible exception of Jeb - stands a chance to win in the general election.

Bobby Jindal. I can see that. Paul Ryan might want to take a run of his own. See what he can work out around the financials over the next year or so and he might be a serious candidate.

Paul Ryan, for all his ideological flaws (he's conservative), is a smart guy. That alone makes him a better candidate than someone like Rand Paul.

But Jeb Bush is also a smart guy with a record of accomplishment that Paul Ryan doesn't have.

As for Jindal, No. Just no.
