Form G-1145 No notification yet

Hi,

I sent our K-1 packet on Friday and the USPS told me it would be to the dallas lockbox on monday with for G-1145 request for electronic notification as the first page. Today is Thursday and I still have not yet gotten the electronic notification that my application has been accepted. Is this normal? How long does it usually take? Sorry I've just been extremely anxious that I did something wrong. I put the G-1145 first and then my cover letter and then my I-129F with my check paperclipped to it and then the rest of the documentation.

That G1145 is very unreliable some get notification some don't. The best way to track is track your check or money order. Once its cash you are good to go. The hadcopy I-797 (NOA1) should arrive within 30 days usually just takes about a week.

be sure to go to the USVIS.gov and register your receipt# once you get it and sign up for email and text going forward. The G1145 is a one time thing.

Thank you so much Dwheels. So they haven't cashed my check yet either because I keep checking with my bank account. At what point should I be worried? and if it is problem who would I contact? Thanks again.

worry after 2 weeks. its been 3 days.And you would always call USCIS until you get approval. They only have one number. I am sure next week check should be there. It's fine.

It can take up to 30 days to receive the NOA1 receipt notice. They are receiving and sending out the receipt notices slowly right now. Most likely due to a bit of backlog from the holidays.
