I-485 and i-693 questions

Hi All,

I am not sure if this the right form for or not, but I am hoping that someone can help me with my questions. I am going to file for an adjustment of status for my wife in couple of weeks(90-day rule).we got married in august 2013 in Turkey and she came to the states on September 29th with a tourist visa. She had a 10 year tourist visa before we got married, and had no problems getting into the country. I've been reading the forums and all the other related material and still some parts of the process is not clear to me..I've talked to lawyer and it seems that $2000 is a lot for their services, or maybe not.

I know that I have to complete I-130,i-864 and g-325a forms and for my wife I-485, I-693, and g-325a.

the first question I have is that do we have to file all these forms at the same time, what I am trying to say is that before filling out other forms does my wife need to get the examination and fill out the I-693 and then file everything together?

the second question I have is about filling out I-485.i am going to attach a file so it is clear that what my questions is. on the first page of I-485 on part 2 I am not sure which option we should check.none of those apply to my wife.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is no 90 days rule. In a concurrent filing all forms go together in one package, I-693 needs to be completed by civil surgeon ahead of time and sent with the package.

Never seen the adjustment of status form. What do people check when they are here on a B1/B2 Visa. Hope you get answers. Soory I can't help you. I am interested myself.

Read through A again. It states, in brackets: "Attach a copy of the approval notice, or a relative...visa petition filed with this application that will give you an immediately available visa number, if approved". Relative visa petition = I-130.

yes, but because you will have an approvable ii130, then you will file the adjustment of status based on an approvable i130

as said A is correct
