Insufferably incompetent

It amazes me how people try to interpret an agency. Not one person out here who isn't on the inside of this organization can make foolish statements on how or why applications get processed. It is pure speculation based on very few samples with a small number of statistics of filiers who have decided to join this forum.

Until you are sitting in the meetings of the people that head this organization you have no idea how the process works and neither do I. As long as I have been in this forum the process, the people, the questions and the order of which applications are processed is relvolving. The same comments made today are the same comments made five years ago.

Everyone thinks they are standing in a line at Disneyland and they get to get on the ride next and everyone wants to be just as important as the next person. I salute you for a great reply JA_Martinez. To label the USCIS "Insufferably incompetent" is only because your patience is thin. the process does and will happen. Then you will never have time to be here whining again

How is it that they are transferring their receipt numbers in no particular order ?

I understand that batches of 1000 are being processed per day, but why not do it in ascending/increasing/upwards order ?

They are literally taking random cases, transferring in a NOT-FIFO fashion and operating in a state of complete chaos.

What is this banana republic ?

If everyone would just wait be patient and accept whatever gets trown at them,i`m sure the waiting time would be even longer, the louder people get the stronger the chance is they get heard...Of course someone will whine after months of waiting with 0 information about their cases ! please dont tell me waiting 8 + month just for NoA2 is sufferable ... you read all of this 5 years ego ? well maybe people should stick together and try changing a system that is out of order!

Yeah, it's infuriating. It's one of the reasons I stayed away from VJ for a while. I couldn't handle seeing cases submitted months after mine and getting approved before me. In fact it still bothers me. I really only check the March filers thread now.

Shut The Front Door! U are still waiting from March???? #######??? Did you request a platinum engraved approval? I feel for u Lucybelle, I thought all that *))* was straightened out by now after the letters sent, etc.. Hang in there buddy!ClockWatch2.gif

I know its random because I actually bothered to look through the receipt numbers (in batches) and empirical evidence proves that they leave out receipt numbers willy nilly and move onto transferring batches that are not consecutive. I am a computer scientist by profession and I consider myself sane enough (whatever sane means right now) to identify nonsensical patterns of processing.

Also CSC, NSC and TSC dont have anything to do with decision making about who gets transferred.

They are recipients of the transfer. What does the fact that they exist have anything to do with the transfer ?

NBC is where they are transferring and they are doing it like they're on crack cocaine.

What does the number of cR1/IR1 applicants have anything to do with the order in which they are processed ??

What does RFEs etc have to do with processing first-in first-out ?

Why not process them in a certain order ? They're mixing up PDs to the point where people with PDs from later in the month are being processed than those with PDs from earlier dates for no damn reason.

me and some other fellas took a stab at this last year, too. Good on you for doing it, this season.

IMO, gisting on patterns gets useful when the patterns start to make sense and/or the anomolies are definable.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

For people who have been approved in six months times stabbing at us who haven't even heard a thing is not fair we have a family too so it's not fair for you to speak at us like we are whining. We are only venting this is what this is for so people can connect with others going through similar issues so if our posts and our expressed feelings bother you than maybe you should be grateful your petition was approved and go on with your life while the rest of us are aiming toward improvement. Because of immigration issues my husband wasn't able to see his dying father and is the only person in his family living back home and now has me in the US and we are newly weds and have a darn good ####### amount of work to do to start our lives together so I'll be damned if I don't make some noise over missing countless holidays with the man I married. I can't even go visit him because I am working for us to have a better life when he arrives. Again dong judge us who are still waiting we are under tons of pressure And some of you who are quick to talk forgot how that feels.

Sorry. Im losing it. Haha

So am I so am I

How do you "interpret" an agency anyway ? You mean interpret the priorities of an agency i suppose

Pure speculation based on a small number of statistics ???

NO - we actually entered actual receipt numbers - which is a very tedious task considering there are a lot of them that are being processed - and tried to find patterns of "batch processing". What I was trying to communicate was the fact that they are randomly processing batches here and there and they are leaving out/missing out receipt numbers indiscriminately. These are people's lives that are being played with here.

To label the USCIS "Insufferably incompetent" is only because your patience is thin.

To get ahead of the disneyland line, because you got a Philippines expedite and got to get ahead of that disneyland line because of the your expedite -- and to mock others who are frustrated because that very process for the rest of us is messed up -- is extremely arrogant.

Who are you to tell us how to react to institutional incompetence. If it weren't for people who made some noise last time around because of this bureaucratic apathy, we would have been waiting even longer. They had to put out a press release and our reaction forced them to reduce the waiting time by 1-2 months. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to get a government agency to enforce the mandate it's supposed to enforce WITHOUT DELAY.

Shouldn't be that hard to do seeing as they are handing out work permits to lawbreakers of all nationalities quite efficiently and expediently !!!

AGREED!

Wow! You did go through really fast! Do you think it's because you're an F2A? I've seen others saying that they were processing those faster because their dates were current on the Visa Bulletin. Good for you! I'm glad that some of us aren't getting stuck. Especially with the way retrogression works.
