Thank you for the great information posted here. I have a question concerning packet three letter.

Today, the DOS informed me that on December 20th, the London embassy mailed my fiancée the packet three letter. This was one day after my case went READY on Dec 19th. He still has not received the packet three letter as of today. Several weeks ago we submitted the DS 160, and the readiness form. Our medical is next week. Our case has updated twice December 27 and jan2 which I assume is the DS 160 and readiness form being received.

Should I be concerned that I never received the actual packet 3?

First off - the guide is not to be posted in as it says not only at the very top, but also the very bottom by one by the Lead Moderator. Read it more closely next time.

Secondly - to answer your question? Yes and No.

No because you've clearly gone and gotten everything done yourself which is all the letter tells you to do.

Yes because it may mean you have an issue getting your interview letter for some reason. Go to Plan B - any time you see your "Case Updated" field change on CEAC after having your medical, ring the Department of State and ask what the update was.

"What's yours is mine!"
