It's fun reading all these old stories from long ago. Thanks for reviving this thread :)

I'm only a few months married but have known my husband for some years now. The pandemic did a number on all our plans but it all worked out in the end. We were just talking last night about how this is the happiest period in our lives so far.

U're welcome.   May this thread be an inspiration for those who are still on the process.  It's good that it's turning out well for you.  Yes, the pandemic prevented us from traveling and all the other plans but also allows us to appreciate life more each day.  Enjoy your marriage, when u love each other, time sure goes so fast.

I was seeing this post reactivated after 7 years and thought WTH? But, I enjoyed the posts and wondering also, how many are still together.

We have been married since March of this year. We were lucking in getting her Visa expedited and getting out during one the lulls in the lockdowns.

Here's to everyone and good luck to all.

Getting your fiancée here during COVID is a success story.  Thanks for your post AlaMike.
