My fiance resent the i-129F packet last December 10 (Backstory: wrong address for the first time hence it was returned to him) and we haven't gotten an email or text from USCIS that they've received our packet yet. My fiance sent it through USPS and didn't use certified mail so we have no way of tracking it. We hopefully wait but our heart breaks a little more everyday with not hearing anything about it. He even tried calling USCIS and they said there's no file under his name yet and that they really couldn't help with anything unless we have a case number. And i also know its because of the holiday rush since we sent it december. I just wanna know if anyone else is on the same boat? And if anyone has been here before and if so, how long did it take for you guys to receive an email/text from them?

I'm sorry to hear that. One of VJers here has same problem with you. Have you checked they cashed the fee?

Sweetheart we sent ours on december 23 they got it the next day and since them we are waiting!! We dont know whats going on! No email to text nothing!! We called and they told us to wait till january 24. Grrrr so annoy!!! They still havent cash out the money order. Check urs

01-08-2013 : We decided to be a couple and walk on the same life path!!!!

06-08-2013 : I traveled to the US to stay with my man for 3 months. We got engaged!!!!

Meanwhile :

July 2013 : My fiancé apply for his citizenship.

November 2013 : My fiancé become an American citizen.

i think you can check if the check has been cashed or not. Your fiance have to sent the check in i-129F package. Hopefully this can give you some relief

It can take 30 days to receive the NOA1 receipt notice. They seem to be slow about receiving and sending out the receipt notice as of late. Most likely due to the holidays.

I'm sorry for this dear.. :( I hope you'll get your notification soon. Let's hope and pray it gets there and processed ASAP.

It's also a good idea to have any sort of tracking, every time we send something to USCIS.
