NBI letter of explanation

good day everyone!

i was interviewed last december 2013 and received a 221g stating i need a written explanation from the nbi regarding my remark on my clearance. the email i received from the manila USEM stated that i should not follow up their request to the NBI because they (nbi) will forward the letter directly to them (USEM) and instructed me to just wait for their next instruction. i would just like to know how long it would take for my visa to be issued and what i can do to expedite the process.

thank you for the link! however, the embassy instructed me to just wait... and i didn't receive any letter or instructions from them on the date of my interview. im just wondering how long is the waiting time for this process to be completed... i submitted some documents that may (hoping) help expedite the process like a clearance from our local regional trial court. im trying to contact the USEM but they seem to be very busy every time i call... the email addresses they provide for inquiries seem to be very congested and waiting a response from them would take forever... (IVManilaReplies@state.gov and acsinfomanila@state.gov). im hoping that someone with a similar case with mine would share his/her experience. thank you!
