Visa approved today!! Yippee!!!! Question. Did any of your spouses buy a one way or round trip tickets? I know this might be a silly question, but the cost is way different for a RT or one way.

I fear the RT will spur questions at the POE

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Ya , but

one step past POE,

the airlines turn over the ticket manifests to CBP.

Days go by, the return date , and regardless if you used the return leg or no,

your name still gets on the manifest and CBP gets the list.

CBP might think you left the country. This is a problem for K-1 visa holders, sometimes, however....

The real fix is to cancel the return leg of the ticket with the airline, after arriving in the USA, prior to the return date.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
