Re-sent Affadavit of Support... how do we find out the result?

Hi VJers,

Last week (2 January) I had my interview at the US Consulate in Vancouver. The interview went well, but I was not immediately approved because our lawyer neglected to provide the Affadavit of Support + petitioner's 2012 tax return. I sent new copies back via Loomis, and I know they were delivered this morning.

From what I remember a consulate staffer telling me, I should receive an email or some notification that they received the package? Is this true? Also, how do we find out whether we are approved or denied? Is there a website where we can check this?

I hope the results do not take long to find out! Learning our paperwork was not complete (lawyer's fault) was really difficult, and as such, I am finding it hard to be positive about how the rest of this will go.

You don't have to be denied, if this doc were missing in your file everything will be perfecte. Good luck in you proces friend!
