Santa was a little late with my presents this year! :devil: I just checked the NVC Automated Voice Response system and it stated that our case has been completed! :dance: I am sooooo happy today :dancing: :energetic:

How long does it take from 'Case Complete' till the overseas embassy/consulate actually receives the case papers?

Took mine 17 days from NOA2 to the consulate.. read my timeline... :thumbs:

Usually if they ship it right out..3-4 days DHL time..

9/14 2006 I-129F Sent Next day Air

9/15 Recieved and signed for by "Freeman" at NSC

9/19 NOA1 CSC Recieved

9/25 Notice date Check cashed 9/25

9/28 I Recieved NOA1(I-797C) in the mail

12/5 NOA2 12/6 but Approved on 12/5 touch

12/9 Received NOA2(I-797) by snail mail

12/15 NVC has received it..Case # issued...

12/19 NVC shipped to Romania

12/22 Romanian Embassy has received an email from NVC that my Petition is on it's way...

12/29 Packet 3 sent to Veronica

1/12 2007 Packet 3 received Dang Holidays..

1/22 Sending all paperwork(I-134,Bank/Employer letters etc..,)..to Veronica per DHL, 3.5lbs...$144 WOW!

1/25 Recieved notice that She needs to pick up my packet in Chisinau..

How long does it take from 'Case Complete' till the overseas embassy/consulate actually receives the case papers?

I searched thru the Cr1 Visa app's as they are different from the K Visas. K Visas sit very temporary at NVC and are shipped off quickly with almost no hesitation. Cr1 is different as they sit at NVC for months and then are shipped. After searching the time lines it appears that most are shipped and arrive between 4 and 9 days depending on the country it looks like. But almost all who DID choose to update their time lines, thank you very much show that they arrived within 9 days. Hope that helps, and many arrived within 4, so you never know. Good luck...Happy New Year.

09-27-06 Case Approved. No RFE or hicupps. Koool

NVC PROCESS

10-04-06 > Case number Assigned.

10-16-06 > DS2032 and AOS fee generated

10-17-06 > Paid AOS fee using Jame's shortcut

10-17--06> Wife E-mailed Choice of Agent DS2032

10-24-06 > Choice of agent accepted.

10-30-06 > IV fee bill generated.

11-08-06 > Sent I864 E-Z using James shortcut.

11-16-06 > Received and sent IV fee bill next day delivery.

11-21-06 > IV fee entered into NVC system

11-22-06 > NVC system tells me some documents mssing or incomplete,. Turns out to be DS230

12-15-06 > Sent and e-mail and called to argue that the document is indeed the original. Lady said she will have a supervisor look at it.

12-26-06 > Called again to see if a supervisor looked at it. 12-27-06 > Delivered at the NVC at 11:47AM. Still waiting to hear the completion of my case...

01-16--07 > CASE COMPLETED

03-20-07> Interview in Dakar, CO was not satisfied with Employer letter. Reschedule for 03-27

03-27-07> CR1 Visa Approved was told to pick up on in 2 days

our case was forwarded to mumbai on 28th..........so ours going to be great new year........as my wife is also coming to be with me and we will go to usa together.. so its much awaited happiness that LORD had showered upon us, after lot of pain..
