Heres several things that you need to remember, the medical is good for one year from the date of

the medical exam, the 90 days is the the requirement for marriage, when you get married thats it.

The sooner you do it the better off you are as she is in a no status situation. Make sure that

when you do send in her I-485, you send in the forms for advanced parole and authorization

to work as its cheaper than if you file them seperately. This site explains all that for you and

provides example filled out forms for you to follow. Good Luck!

When the I-94 expires, the Non USC will start to accumulate overstay. Additionally you will not be able to work until the EAD is issued. If for some reason you need to leave the country for an emergency. Without an AP you will not be able to re-enter. You would have to file for a Spouse visa and wait about a year.

Waiting to file just seems silly to me, but apparently some people do wait.

Wife had two months before her visa expired, we could have applied for a visa extension, but that is an unknown. So we elected to spend our honeymoon filling out immigration forms. But this doesn't mean you can't still play house together. I-693 takes the longest, have to depend on a USCIS approved doctor for that. But we managed to get all this done in three weeks sending the entire packet. Did I mention she also had a daughter? Took care of that at the same time.

Two weeks we received an NOA from the USCIS stating that she and her daughter were free to stay here. Three weeks before her visa expired. We did not apply for travel documents, and extra 60 bucks at the time. At this time we were free, so then we could relax and go on our honeymoon. In the US of course, not free to leave the US until that green card came in. But did apply for the EAD card, without that, can't do anything, not even open a one buck bank account.

Until you get your US citizenship, kind of a salve to the USCIS, and have to keep them informed.
