My husband is waiting for his green card to arrive, our AOS interview was last August. His EAD will expire in Febuary and we are trying to apply for his EAD renewal. Among the requirements we believe we need to send a copy of his I-485 receipt notice with the application, the problem is we can't find it! Is it necessary to send a copy? Would it be sufficient with a copy of his current EAD card? They should have it on record that we have applied for his AOS already. What should we do???? :help:

perla,

Your post starts of by implying, but does not state explicitly, that your husband's adjustment of status has been approved?

In which case, he'd be wasting his money to apply to renew his EAD. There's no basis for the application and the application will be denied.
