You can always delay at the embassy stage. Wait to send back your packet 3, schedule the interview late, etc. I think I also remember reading about a Canadian being asked if they want to activate their K1 when crossing the border, but don't hold me to that. Personally I hope we get approved extra speedy :D

having mixed feelings on all these other people that filed in Nov/Dec and have gotten their NOA2s already. On the one hand I would get to be with the love of my life that much faster. On the other hand we had plans for him to finish up work and other things by the 5+ month prediction.

If he gets his Visa sooner he cant come visit me in May for a convention we always go to together or it will start the 90 day activation to get married.

so many mixed feelings on this x_x

I've been lurking in the background but now I've decided to join. I filed my I127 January 8th, expedited it so that it got there January 9th. And I've had my frist emailed NOA on the 14th. Hoping it will go quickly, so that I can have my fiance in the country before I start grad school in September. Still waiting on the hard copy of NOA1 one though.

Fiancé mailed the I129F off early January, got an email notice on the 22nd saying it was sent from Texas to California and on the same say that the Alien registration number changed when I go to track it online.

No NOA1 in the mail yet, but I'd expect it to take a bit with international mail and all.

It can take up to 30 days. You won't need the noa1 for anything later, so I wouldn't stress about it.

Got acceptance email on the 13th but no noa1 in the mail yet. What is taking so long ??

Can I email or call to request the hard copy ?

My mail version of the NOA1 hasn't come either and its been more then 10 buisness days. But since I don't need it for anything, I guess I shouldn't worry.
