Texas has more than twice the applications, I think. dashboard.uscis.gov has the details. They need to do a serious transfer sometime soon <_<

As I type this, the interview is going on in Manila. Needless to say, I'm looking for diversions to keep me from chewing off my fingers. (Nails are already gone). :clock:

I received packet three last Friday from London Embassy, not much of a 'packet', more a letter!

I'd like to know how long the wait time for an interview is too, my medical is booked for beginning of April.

Wow ok. I've booked my medical but not received anything. How do you know when the embassy has received it? Did you pester them to get your packet 3?

When I checked my status on the CEAC website the status was updated on the 7th March and it said 'Ready' so I assumed that's when it was processed at London.

It was then updated on the 18th March and I received the letter on the 20th, so I'm guessing the update was when they send out the packet.

No pestering, although very tempted!

I have my interview and my medical booked. They said that they wanted the packet 4 document? Is a confirmation from embassy that interview is confirmed okay to bring to the medical? Medical will be in mid April and my interview is in June. Hoping to bump up my interview to May but doesn't loo like there's any openings.

Chris, stop making all of us refresh this page to hear that everything is gravy is Manila :)

As for moi, she cleared her med exam and getting ready for the interview.

Today, I'm sending the following papers to her via snail mail -

- copy of W-2 (optional)

- copy of recent pay stubs (last 2 months...optional)

- I-134 (original and signed) (REQUIRED)

- Letter of Intent...his & hers (optional)

- Additional pics...proof of ongoing relationship (recommended)

Per consular appointment check list (Seoul), optional items were not listed...sending them just to play it safe.

She prepared is preparing the rest.

Am I missing anything?

Wait! W2 and pay stub are optional?! I thought they were necessary to prove that they can support you! Now I'm confused!

I guess it all depends how thorough the interviewer intends to be, I-134 states "If self-employed, I have attached a copy of my last income tax return..." which in my case I'm not self-employed. Again, I'm still sending her all supporting docs to cover any loose ends. Bottom line, let's prepare whatever we can so our loved ones don't get jammed up in the interview.
