Just received the below email/text.

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

'On March 10, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly'

What would be our next step ??

Thanks

That's great! Congrats!!! Now USCIS will send your package to the NVC--it'll take ~1-week to 2-weeks. You should call after 10-days to check on the status and hopefully get a case number.

Just received the following email:

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On March 10, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice.

YES!! Exactly 2 months from the date I received NOA1. This petition was approved at the California center, and it is for my fiancée who is French. Hopefully everyone else from January receives news soon too. I was beginning to think something was wrong with my file, so relieved things are moving forward finally!

Good luck everyone :)

My fiancé is the same. I think he's checked the case status only once, that too under my guidance. ;)

I'm the one always checking visajourney timelines, stats and trends but this creates even more anxiety than subjugate it. Fiancé keeps trying to calm me down but to no avail. hehehe... :P

I guess it helps to understand that we will know when we will know. :)

I'm the compulsive checker! My fiancé has only just learned how to check the site and he's only done it once rolleyes.gif

ClockWatch2.gif come ooooonnnnnnn adjudicator (processor) or whatever your title is... process *my* petition .. lol sorry guys I'm greedy.. chant your own tongue.png

compulsively checking my case status even though already subscribed to email and txt notifications. i know im not the only one. I wonder do women do this more often than men?

Haha probably. I'm always checking and my fiance is always calming me down and telling me that it will come when it comes. I feel the same exact way. I also use the various time line reports to try to figure out how long it will take, but no way of predicting sadly.

Congratulations Calowl!

I think what bothers me the worst is that I don't know how long it will take and no matter how much you research theres really no trend it could take 1-6 months for NOA2 it seems. I'm on 2 months of a wait now, and my estimated date has passed last week. It seems that the texas center isn't doing much or people aren't undating their timeline.

How come all the guys are so relaxed and all the women freaking out.

I try to relax and only check status once a day bug I can't help myself staring at igor's list and the stats and trends hoping to somehow see a trend when noa2 could come..

Patience is such a hard thing.

And my fiancé? Always telling me I'll drive myself nuts...maybe I should try yoga or something :)

Good luck to everybody!

I am SO glad I am not the only one! I was beginning to think I was losing the plot! laughing.gif

I would not be this frantic with checking the timelines and data if there was more contact with the service centers available, but as it is a government office I expect no less than what it is today! *sigh* unsure.png

Good luck everyone. here's to reuniting with our spouses as quickly as possible. God knows we miss them terribly.

It's not the waiting in itself for me. It's the unknown that's freaks me out.

If they deny our petition it would change our life's and our plans completely. But I guess all of you know exactly what I mean. So hoping and waiting it is :/

Can you imagine how many calls they would get if there was another way to get through hahaha. I wish I knew the logic of why some people take longer and why people go quicker so I can say yes i have this element itll take long, or no mine is an easy one I should get one soon. I hate not knowing. I seach by country and service center and look for trends but still seems random.

I'm guilty of this! I did a timeline query of everyone who has received NOA2 since January 1st, added all their "NVC delays" into a spreadsheet, and computed the average, (4.29 days). Noted the high (14 days), and the low (1 day!), and use that to attempt to calm my nerves. (Today is day 12 for us).

I feel like I might need a 12 step program if they don't release it soon.

does anyone know what time does the texas service center work up to

According to my data calculations is seems like they are generally doing end of November and begining of December. However a few January people have come through. And obviously Philipines is going much faster.
