I noticed that you didn't have a timeline. Would you mind filling it out?

Has any Canadians gotten through? Seems like the quick ones are going more by country than by "order".

As far as wedding I planned for end of November. Going by Gov. estimate it should be September but we dded a few months just in case. I was also HIGHLY recommended not to do this. I'm taking a big risk in doing it.

I heard there was a way to get the visa expidited if work was offering them a job? Its something I might look into for my fiancee because a few companies have asked for him but dont want to sponsor.

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

It will also be 2 months for me on monday since NOA1.We should keep in touch to see each others timeline updates.

I filed around the same time as you, and still haven't gotten anything. I guess we are all in the same boat in the slow texas center.

Here's hoping January gets some movement by the end of March! I know the wait is long and it is not to be expected any sooner than 5 months. I hope all of those filers from 2013 get their approvals soon too.

Hello everyone

So last Monday our documents were sent to London consulate. I've been checking on https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ but it keeps coming up with the message "Your search did not return any data."

Does anyone know why this would be? It is likely that our case no. is incorrect?

Hi!

either the number is not correct or you're not choosing "immigrant visa" at the CEAC status check webpage. When I selected the "non-immigrant visa" option I got the same message you did.

Hope this works! If not call NVC and verify the case number.

OUR TIMELINE (not completed yet!)

I-129F Sent: Dec 20th 2013

I-129F NOA1: Jan 3rd 2014 (notification received by e-mail and text message; hard copy received on Jan 10th)
I-129F NOA2: Jan 27th 2014 (notification through USCIS mailing list; hard copy received on Feb 3rd)
NVC Received: Feb 07th 2014 (verified through phone call; no notification received)
NVC Left: Feb 11th 2014 (CEAC status changed to "in transit"; called NVC to verify)
Processed at Consulate: Feb 20th 2014 (I sent the embassy an e-mail on Feb 18th and they replied Feb 21st saying that they had received my case the day before)
Package 3 received: Feb 21st 2014 (sent by embassy through e-mail attachment; it was a Word document; they usually send it through regular mail)
Package 3 sent: Feb 24th 2014 (received at the consulate Feb 25th; I know this because I sent a certified letter with online tracking)
Interview date: April 30th 2014 (notification received by e-mail on March 21st; hard copy received on March 26th)

It has been 8 days since I found out my case number (via telephone) but no sign of packet 3 nor any email.

Checked CEAC and its status displayed as "In Transit"...any idea on what kind of notice I'm suppose to expect?

If you registered for the e-mail notification, you'll get an e-mail telling you your case number when they get around to sending it.

In my case, I took the case number, and used it to pay the visa fee, and schedule the medical, and embassy interview in Manila. Yours could be different, but in my case, you don't have to wait for packet 3.

Thanks. Unfortunately, Seoul doesn't want to take visa payment prior until the official notice (packet 3) has been received by me. She called to move forward since we had our case number but was advised against it. Since there are only a handful of people working at that embassy I'm hesitant to play the "number" game hoping to get a positive answer. I'll wait for few more days.

Haha probably. I'm always checking and my fiance is always calming me down and telling me that it will come when it comes. I feel the same exact way. I also use the various time line reports to try to figure out how long it will take, but no way of predicting sadly.

That's the infamous NOA2! Congrats! Now, when the service center gets around to it, they'll send your packet to the NVC, who will, when they get back from their hourly smoke break, on even numbered hours, on days that end with E, scan your case into their system, and ship it off to the embassy. Unless they somehow deem that you need more "Administrative Processing", in which case they'll hang on to it for no particular reason, like they are mine. :-)

CONGRATS though! You've made it through what is normally, the longest part of the process!
