Checked the CEAC website to find out the status has been changed to "In Transit"

Per instruction stated on NOA2 (received on 18 Feb), it said I should be expecting a notice from NVC within 30 days.

Since I obtained my case number (via telephone), the notice NVC is referring to should be arriving via email or mail?

I'll continue to check my inbox...

Via snail-mail. There is a supposed option to send the NVC your receipt number, and pertinent info, and they will send you an e-mail when your case leaves for the embassy, but other VJ'ers have sent those e-mails, and received nothing. I'm currently stuck in "at NVC" status, or I could give you a more definitive answer on the e-mail. But at this point, I would assume that you WON'T get one. Postal service only.

Thanks. I'll be sure to post any follow up received from NVC.

Congrats also jinx! I must say I discovered VJ just by coincidence and it has been a huge help in my quest to get this process done without mistakes, I followed the guides to the letter of the law. VJ is what I read every night before bed :)

A quick note here. I booked the embassy interview for my fiance today, and the earliest date at that time was May 6th. (Manila). I logged in a little later, and it had changed to May 27th. I didn't close the page. I came back a little later, and clicked "Reload/Refresh", and it told me the next available appointment was MARCH 26TH. Needless to say, I jumped on that. Cut a full 46 days off of my wait time.

So, if you are checking for a closer interview date, leave the page open, and just refresh it every few minutes to check on it.
