My fiancee has her interview scheduled for May 27 th. She has gotten her criminal history and on Monday she will go to get the paper work to show she is single. Then we have her do her physical. I wish her appointment was sooner but she was slow to go to the bank and 20 days of appointments were filled by the time she went and paid!

Just got off the phone with the NVC. It was an amazing call for many reasons.

* 9 minutes on hold

* Lady I got on the phone was pleasant

* NVC has RECEIVED my file. (No case # yet, but at least they have it). So, 13 days from CSC to NVC in New Hampshire.

Did you ever get an email back? Or maybe I am confusing you with someone else! :S

No, I think that only happens when you get a case number assigned. Which hasn't happened yet. We'll see, and of course, I'll let you know. :-)

Called NVC on Wed (2/25) and received a verbal confirmation of receipt. However, they didn't have a case number assigned as they received my petition that same day and was told to wait 20-30 days.

Reading through VJ comments "urged" me to be persistent/quasi-annoying :) thus I called them just now and GOT THE CASE NUMBER!

Woke up my fiancee (17 hrs ahead) to deliver the good news but I think she ended up waking up her entire neighborhood out of joy (kidding :P ).

TGIF everyone!

Happy for the people getting their NOA2's already.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

I wonder what kind of an order they go in. Not that I mind waiting, we had already planned with the longer estimate but earlier would be exciting!
