Hello everyone!

I am applying for an adjustment status after coming to the US on a K-1 visa and getting married with my American.

One issue i have is that my I-94 has recorded only half of my first name - my middle name doesn't even appear. I understand this likely comes from the fact that the data on I-94 is collected electronically, so the computer probably picked up only the first part of my name.

Since the I-485 form says to list the name EXACTLY as it appears on the I-94, i'm not sure what to do. Should i list my correct full name (with or without my middle name?) or should i copy the name as it appears on I-94, i.e. only half of my first name?

I really don't want to make a mistake that might warrant a RFE, so thanks to anyone who can help!!

You may want to review this CBP link about the I-94 process and obtaining a correction. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have to use Form I-102:

http://www.uscis.gov/i-102

Thankfully, you won't need to fill out a I-102 ($330 associated fee !!) Go to a CBP POE or Deferred Inspection Office to get a correction.

Good luck.
