Received Case Number From NVC- Get Medical???

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!

I received my NVC case number today. YAY! I read a few conflicting posts about being able to get the medical done with just the case number verses actually having the letter in hand. Does anyone out there know first hand if it can get done with just the number in New Dehli, India? Thanks in advance!

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Get it done as soon as you have the appointment letter.

I also received letter from NVC and complete DS160.

WE have not received any mails from US Embassy in New Delhi. Please let me know , who will send the appointment letter?

I am not optimistic about Dehli sending anything. We received a letter from the NVC and then just went and did the medical. Once your case shows "Ready" status you can go ahead and fill out the ds160 and pay the fee. After your fee is paid you can schedule your interview. YAY!
