I would try calling to file the service request, there have been lots of issues since they "updated" the website. Be prepared to wait, I waited I think at least 30 minutes to get through and others have waited over 2 hours. And if you are not the beneficiary then make sure you are both available to call in because they won't give the petitioner information about the case without the beneficiary's approval. We called as a 3 way call.

Thank you so much, the problem is that i applied for my husband and he is overseas not here to call.

In your case you should be ok to call without him because you are petitioning him. I think that you may still be within normal processing times though because you are an 1-130, I think that those are taking anywhere from 12-24 months to process. We were a K1 so when K1's adjust the beneficiary is the one who actually does the paperwork for themselves and the USC isn't technically involved in the process other than to prove that they married you.

Call, the worst that can happen is they tell you no, you can't file a service request!

Hi everyone just wanted to give you a quick update. I finally received my greencard:)

We filed for AOS and EAD/AP January 29, 2014. We moved halfway across the country so we had to change address right after my biometric appointment. We then got EAD and AP send to my new address. But a month later we got the potential interview Waiver Case letter - send to the OLD ADDRESS (May, 14, 2014). We then had to fix the address issue again and all I could to was hope that they will send everything else to the right address (like they did before the Interview Waiver Letter).

So we got the Interview Waiver Case letter in May. We waited till the 6 months mark passed by and I filed an online service request because we where out to the normal processing time. Never heard an answer or anything regarding that. So I waited another 2 months (December, 03, 2014) to file another online service request. This time the strangest thing happened.

Three days after I filed the service request - My online status changed to Card/Document Production!!!! An hour later I went to the mailbox to find a letter from USCIS stating that they don't know when I will be getting my green card and I need to wait longer etc. Basically my answer to my service request.

On December 12, 2014 my status changed to Card Mailed. But I never got the tracking number or info that it was picked up my ups.

Three days later (12/15/14) the greencard just "showed up" in my mailbox.

I am so relieved this long journey is over for now.

AOS took 320 Days

From filing the K1 to receiving the Greencard we waited almost 710 days!
