Hi all, ten months after filing my wife and I had our interview on Tuesday. I felt like it went very well, but the IO handed us a paper saying our case was being held for review. She said the process could take several months, but that I could always request an InfoPass appointment. I wrote about the interview in detail in my progress report here.

Hey everyone, today we received notification that our AoS interview was approved. Our priority date is in early January 2014, so we are currently at over ten months since our application was received. We had no RFEs and our case had no red flags—just a long process that involved USCIS putting our mailing address as our physical address, which when coupled with our address change most likely added the extra time to the wait. Looking forward to receiving the green card in the mail soon! Good luck to those still waiting.

I filed January 18th for AOS from k1 visa, received EAD in May and then a letter in June saying there was a 6 month delay on all green card applications not related to our case and not to chase it up until after that time passed, I sent in a service request 2 weeks ago, received a response time of 30 days! And still nothing :( I want my green card! My EAD expires in April and I'm getting worried. Wht happens if they don't sort it out in time?

You can renew it for free 120 days or less before expiration.

Yesterday we received a notification that the card had been shipped and it included a tracking number. Despite an expected delivery date of tomorrow, we just received my wife's conditional green card, with her "Resident since" date being the twelfth of this month, when we received the approval notification.

I'll be glad when it comes time to do RoC in two years minus ninety days, but in the meantime we will continue to collect evidence. Good luck to those still waiting!

Congratulations! Please could I ask if you were interviewed at a local USCIS office or were you a interview waiver case (no interview)?

IGNORE ABOVE: I've just read back and saw that you were interviewed. Congratulations again!

Local field office, but our case took longer than most since I think USCIS accidentally sent our case to the field office for the jurisdiction of the mailing address out of state we initially put down. When we moved (within the same city) we updated everything to the new address, and we believe it was at that point they transferred our case even though it should have been in DC the whole time.

We filed AOS on January 29, 2014.

We changed address early on during the process - and thats what might have slowed it down a bit.

I received EAD and AP early april and the potential Interview Waiver Case letter May 15, 2014.

This morning (December 08,2014) I got an e-mail saying that our Status changed to Card Production on December 06/2014. I am so excited and relieved.

It took 311 days from filing AOS to Card in Production and 207 days from the Interview waiver letter.

Now all I can do is hope they send the card to the right address... We already went through some trouble because of that!

I would try calling to file the service request, there have been lots of issues since they "updated" the website. Be prepared to wait, I waited I think at least 30 minutes to get through and others have waited over 2 hours. And if you are not the beneficiary then make sure you are both available to call in because they won't give the petitioner information about the case without the beneficiary's approval. We called as a 3 way call.
