Wow its been such a long time since I posted anything here. Been busy with work and being the only developer on my team I do everything lol. Not much time to do other things but its all very exciting! Good news though is today I attended the interview with my wife (our first interview scheduled on August 21st was cancelled by USCIS and they rescheduled a new one for today). The place was virtually empty and our interview was super fast. In all it took us roughly about 10-15 min and we were done (from swearing in to going over the I-485 forms to the questions). Very nice lady who joked with us a couple of times. Only documentation she looked at was a utility bill and rental insurance. Photocopied them and told us we were approved. We walked out and the txts and email updates started coming through. Card production ordered. Thanks to everyone here. Long wait of 8-9 months but it was worth it. God bless us all!

~ROC : 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

Thanks!!! I remember when we all used to wonder when the interview would come up lol. Took 8 months to get mine and its surprising how quickly it went by lol. Hopefully next 2 years when it comes time to renew the green card..we would all come back and keep this forum active again. I enjoyed all our chats in here :-). Congratulations to you and everyone here!

Received my green card on Thursday. Cute card! God bless you all and see you guys again in 2 years when it's time to remove conditions.

Just to keep everyone updated, had my interview and the green card was approved on the spot. Thanks to everyone for the support shown to one another here... Glad this phase is over but sucks going forward, everyone would disperse - at least for those who got their approvals. Hopefully in 2yrs we'll all come back together again. All the best to each and everyone of you in your respective life endeavors... I sure will miss the smiles and laughter this thread always brought me. God bless us all!

Hey fellow January filers, I'm very pleased to report that today my wife and I received an interview notice for early November!

We will have to reschedule a six-day trip we had planned that overlaps with the interview but we are thrilled to finally have a date. Hopefully five weeks from now we'll be awaiting her green card in the mail.

Just wanted to give an update for anyone else who still might be waiting from our little group....there's not many left :clock:

I called USCIS on 10/8 to check on the status of our case because our Interview Waiver letter was received on April 28th so October 28th would be 6 months since the date of the letter. They looked into our case and of course had no information but did say that it was outside of normal processing times for our local office so they were going to put in an inquiry to find out what was going on and that we would receive an update in 15-30 days.

On Tuesday we got a letter dated 10/27 (conveniently 1 day before the 6 month cutoff) stating that our case was going to be transferred to the local office and would be processed from there. Since we received that letter there's been no movement but I'm hoping there will be soon.

We filed January 18th, recieved EAD in early May and then received a letter in maybe late may saying we MAY not have to go for an interview and there was a 6 month delay on case. Still waiting, sent an e-request today! whats the hold up?!!

I have not received any letter or notice since we received our EAD/AP card. We filed 1/26/14 and have not received any update. Put in a service request online on 10/12/14 and it stated I should expect a reply by 11/03. Today is 11/03 and still nothing yet. I am starting to get anxious about what is the hold up. It so frustrating to not get an exact response when you need it. You have to wait 30 days before they can give you an explanation
