Just spoke with USCIS customer service office about EAD/AP.

They said that till the 75 th day from the NOA date decision must be made.

For me this is next sunday , which is kind of good news as i become extremely nervous not having a job.

So 90 days timeframe now is 75.

hey, where in bulgaria are you from?

i lived there for 5 years of my life - unforgettable time:)

my kids started school there, so they both speak bulgarian

i hava a martenitsa pinned to my coat right now (and i don't think it will go on the tree any time soon:/)

anyway, all the best!

June 2013 - I-130 sent from overseas

January 2014 - applied for AOS/AP/EAD

March 2014 EAD/AP and I-130 approved

May 2014 - AOS approved

Just an update from me, I also received notification of approval for ead/ap on March 7th. Just received my card yesterday after it was stuck in Knoxville, TN for a few days.

Start work on Monday after a long vacation. Good luck to everyone :)

i will be back at work right after spring break (mid-April) and CAN'T WAIT!

Valia and Serghei, Veliko Tarnovo is a gem, indeed! like many places in bg:)

i lived in sofia, which has its charm, but it's nothing like VT - anyway: nadyavam se che vsichko shte bude uspeshno z tvojata karta;) (for those who do not speak bulgarian - here's what i meant: "i hope all will be well with your card" - although i can't promise the sentence is correct;))

Hey everyone. Congratulations to all of you who got approved or having their interview soon! No changes for us so far.

AP and EAD are still under initial review and AOS under Acceptance. Its now 45 days since filing all the paperwork. Do you think this is normal? Shouldn't something have changed? I was also expecting an RFE - but so far nothing. Hopefully we won't get one on a later point.

But my biggest concern right now is that we might move in about two weeks (Hubby accepted a job offer) - halfway across the country. We are so excited - it will be such an improvement for us. But I am scared that the EAD or AP could get lost. Would you change the address now? Even though we will still be here for another two weeks. I thought this might be the best idea incase they might approve EAD and AP maybe next week or so and then it gets lost in the mail. We have family at the place where we would move to and I could change the address to one of them.

What would you do?

Thank you and good luck to all of you!

Hi izzzibizzzi. If you have an absolute certainty of moving to the the new place in two weeks because of your husband's job, I would say go ahead and change the address. If you're not sure, then wait till you are certain of that first before making the address change. Good luck and I hope you hear something from USCIS soon.

Today is exactly day 60 for me since the receipt date of my application by the USCIS. Hopefully this coming week, I hear something about my EAD card. I still haven't received an interview date yet but I believe it is because of backlog in my local office. Other Portland OR December filers have also not received their interview dates so I guess I am in for the long wait. Good luck to everyone and God bless us all.

Hang in there malealpha. We're in the same boat and getting very ansy and anxious that any day now, we'll atleast here about the EAD or an Interview date. I was really happy to see the news someone posted last week about the new policy to get EADs done in 75 days instead of 90. But it makes me even more anxious. This is for my husband and he can't wait to get back to work. And I can wait either.

So hope this week brings good news to all of us still waiting.

R&i journey..that's very true. At this moment I am even more concerned about getting the EAD than the interview date. If I get the EAD, I wouldn't care much about when I get the interview date. I will be with my wife and working and that is all that matters to me but not getting both takes some of the joy out. I really do hope this week we hear something, at least approvals of our EADs. I'm hoping that by tomorrow when the processing times are updated on the USCIS website, I will see more recently filed cases being processed.

MaleAlpha, I constantly check the website for updates now. Is there a certain time of day that USCIS updates their website for case status?

I am in oregon so it's pacific time here and from the update times I have received on my end, it's been 4.00 pm, 8.30 pm and 11.15 pm. Giving the randomness I doubt they have a specific timeline but I usually like to. Heck mine around 10 pm. The processing time updates are on the 15th day of each month but since march 15th was a weekend, I believe the update will be on Monday, 17th march.

One of my friends moved from TX to GA. She filled for AOS in TX last yr January. The files received Atlanta January 2014. So it took a yr for them to transfer those files. We are moving too and I'm already scared it is going to happening to us too.

I would say don't change the address. It can take the post office a few weeks to catch up to the forwarded mail. Not sure of your situation, but if you know the people who are going to be living in your place after you leave, I would make friends with them and make sure they keep ALL your mail, and cross your fingers that you get it yourself within the next 2 weeks.

Hi everyone. So my husband signed the new contract and we will be leaving here in about two weeks. I don't know the new people that will live in our apartment. And I am really scared that my mail will get lost. I also don't want to wait to change the address - what if the they approve it by the end of this week but the mail gets stuck somewhere and then it arrives here? There might be a chance that no one is living in our apartment for a few weeks...

We would move from CT to MO - and there is no chance I could pick up my mail in CT after moving. I am really scared this messes everything up. We already have a new address / house in MO. I feel like the longer I would wait - the messier it gets. We will definitely be leaving CT - our local office changes from the Hartford CT office to the St. Louis MO office. But our cases are anyway still at the NBC in MO.

I called the customer service to ask questions today and he said he can't change my address because we did not move yet - but should call him as soon as we moved. I think I change the address online now and call him once we moved. Would you still send the paper AR-11 form to USCIS as well? Or do you think this will confuse them even more. This move comes in the worst time right now... but we really look forward to it and are excited!
