Good morning folks!

I just received notification that I have been scheduled an appointment for April 10 wow.gif . To say I am shocked (super happy, but shocked) would be an understatement as my local office appeared to be back logged and an appointment not on the cards until around September.

Once again, I find myself confused by the whole timeline thing - it really isn't accurate at all......lol It seems that it is entirely reasonable to expect miracles!

No movement on the EAD/AP, it has been 27 days since my biometrics appointment.

It is my firm hope that everyone who is still waiting for news hears this week - it is entirely possible :)

Hey all,

I'm on of the people who NEEDS to update my timeline, when I get a chance i'm on it!

So I sent through my AOS packet with EAD and AP forms and they were received by USCIC on the 01/14/2014 and sent to National Benefits Centre, had my biometrics on the 14th Feb.... My online USCIC case status still show ACCEPTANCE for I-484 and INITIAL REVIEW for I-131 and I-765. Should these have changed by now?

Also I have to travel back to the UK mid-may for my sisters wedding (in BIG trouble if I cant make it.. :) ), now I know that the EAD and AP are usually processed within three months, but because there has been no update on the case status site, i'm panicking they have forgotten about me or something! Should I call to try and get expedition of AP or am I fine?

Thanks guys. This community has been invaluable to our application.

You should be fine. I also heard absolutely nothing, and it just sat at Acceptance and Initial Review, but then it just changed to approved/card production for AP and EAD last Friday. So in a short while, it should also just get approved by you. There are no intermediate steps for AP and EAD (unless you get an RFE, but that is unlikely by now if you haven't gotten it yet) and it just goes from initial review to approved.

Thanks for that vbtwo, sometimes someone just telling you it's ok is all you need. :)

Looking at your timeline I see I am a couple of weeks behind you, so hopefully I will see the change too. How long after seeing the approved did you receive your actual cards?

Hi Danielle19

I agree with vbtwo - it should all work out for you. If you are really worried, call a Tier 2 person at USCIS, other than that, it is all a bit of a wait.

This whole process is full of surprises so you may not get any updates from USCIS and your EAD/AP might just show up this month?

Good luck!

Thanks CJC, I'm an optimistic person and usually I just let things happen knowing they will get there eventually, but for some reason I'm over that now, and just want me EAD and AP already! :)

I have yet to call USCIC at all yet, so maybe in a couple of weeks if I haven't heard anything i'll call them up...

Hey Danielle19...I understand where you are coming from as I am much the same as you - everything in its time.

Everything will come together for good for you, you'll see :)

hello all,

good to see so much is happening foe january filers. for those who are still waiting: patience is the key. one thing i learned from my 8 months of acquaintance with uscis is that there is no way of telling how long things will or should take, but things happen.

i give up on creating a nice timeline with the program the website offers. my situation is too complicated, i guess, so i just put some info in my signature. it might help other people.

i applied for ssn today - a simple and short procedure. my recently issued card was not in the system yet, but the officer there will submit it as soon as it appears there. so i am waiting again.

best to all jan peeps!

June 2013 - I-130 sent from overseas

January 2014 - applied for AOS/AP/EAD

March 2014 EAD/AP and I-130 approved

May 2014 - AOS approved
