Hello

I am a Jan filer as well. California based.

I filed on Jan 2nd....so far only NOA was for AP document and it was rejected due to outdated version of the form, so i resent it.

i-485 and EAD have been received and i got the email notification Jan 12th ...but so far nothing in the mail. no news about biometrics appt.

nothing in the mail!!? That's a long wait!

nothing in the mail!!? That's a long wait!

I had my NOA1 on the 3rd and only got the hard copy on the 16th. It takes a while.

1/4/13 - I129-F Sent | 1/8/13 - Received by USCIS
1/10/13 - NOA1 to VSC | 1/11/13 - Text/Email | 1/17/13 - Hard Copy Received
1/16/13 - Alien Registration Number changed
5/24/13 or 5/29/13 - Case Transferred to TSC
7/2/13 - NOA2 from TSC! (173 days from NOA1) | 7/6/13 - Hard Copy Received
7/18/13 - Shipped to NVC | 7/26/13 - Received at NVC and case number assigned
7/29/13 - In transit to consulate | 7/31/13 - Received by consulate
8/20/13 - Medical - Passed | 8/21/13 - Interview - Approved!
8/28/13 - Passport with visa ready to pickup from courier
10/17/13 - POE - JFK
10/28/13 - Applied for SSN and marriage license | 11/2/13 - SS card received
11/21/13 - Wedding


12/30/13 - I485/I765/I131 Sent | 1/2/14 - Received by USCIS
1/3/14 - NOA1 to NBC | 1/16/14 - Hard Copy Received

lol I know the feeling. But it's soooo slow. My gosh. They received my application on the 7th. Still no biometrics. I guess NYC is backed up

Hello! Oh dear, still no biometrics?....hhmm maybe they are still thawing out...lol

Wouldn't it be awesome if everything happened way faster than we expected it too? Let's hope it goes that way in 2014, for everyone :)

Amen to that. I am trying my best to exercise patience, and in the mean time trying to keep busy phew! Uscis please be good to us! Lol

Got my hard copies of the NOA1 for the AOS trio in the mail yesterday (Friday) - which was and continues to be, awesome.

From submission to NOA1 hard copy receipt, it took a total of 9 days. I have to say, I am pretty happy about that (as well as relieved, one does become somewhat obsessive...ha ha).

Go USCIS... :) So far, so good!

Still no biometric letter but I did get an update on i485 request for evidence. :( not sure what it is about, :( soooo sad. Guess ill find out when I get it in the mail

05/30/2014 (Day 134): I-30 APPROVED, email NOA 2

06/05/2014 (Day 140): APPROVAL LETTER RECEIVED!!!!

06/10/2014 (Day 0): mailed AOS packet to Chicago Lockbox

I got my NOA1 on Jan 6, if I'm not mistaken and had biometrics on the 17th. Our appointment for biometrics wasn't supposed to be until Jan 31 but we did an early walkin and they let us. The office is 3 hours away and we were already there so we tried. I wonder if early walkin speeds anything up....

submitted all AOS/EAD/AP January 2nd..

received NOA for AOS/EAD on Jan 24th...long time to get to california..

AP was rejected then resubmitted Jan 22nd..still no word about it..

no biometrics appt yet...

How do you go about doing a walk in without an apt? it that advisable? the local office is 5 min away from my place so im just wondering if thats a good idea
