It's just where your case is being handled, at the national benefits center (NBC) formerly known as Missouri service center I believe. So I guess that's why the return address on the receipts are MO

Any one if us jan filers from New York?

Not quite NYC but right outside in North Jersey.

My package was delivered last Thursday, the 16th and I haven't heard anything yet.

I hope they cash out my check soon at least!

Hello Everyone!

I am a January filer, yay! I have been in this website for quite sometime now reading all posts/threads anonymously and finally decided to register (just now) so I can post my own updates on my AOS filing. It's nice knowing I am not alone in this journey and nice to know that we have this small community making updates on the processes each of us made, which I find interestingly exciting and not to mention very helpful and somehow lessen the burden of anxiety and waiting by reading all posts and checking any updates for co-January filers. I hope everything is well and good luck to all of us!!! no0pb.gifstar_smile.gifbiggrin.png

Anyway, my AOS was filed on January 9, 2014, received an email notification yesterday (January 20th) informing case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing and within 7-10 days, by standard mail, I will receive my official Receipt Notice (Form i-797) with my Receipt Number. So, I am presuming it will arrive sometime or between the 27th and 30th of this month (fingers crossed).

I just hope EAD will be processed SOONER! I need a job to divert my attention and somehow, be more productive! kicking.gif

Hey! yeah, this whole forum is just great, its so nice to gain information and help through the members here :)

Good luck for yours, looks like we have very similar timelines for AOS. I got my NOA1 on the same date as you! Will keep everyone updated if anything changes.

All the best.

Hey there fellow January filers!

May the winds (not the cold polar vortexy ones though!!) be at our backs as we begin the next part of our journey. I sent the AOS trio last week for it to be accepted on 01/16 - just waiting on the hard copy now.

This one isn't as nail biting as the first step because I am here with my man, however it sure would be great to get that EAD/AP in my hot litttle hand so I can get moving on the job front. There is only so much baking and cleaning that one can do...ha ha

All the best everyone :)

Hello

I am a Jan filer as well. California based.

I filed on Jan 2nd....so far only NOA was for AP document and it was rejected due to outdated version of the form, so i resent it.

i-485 and EAD have been received and i got the email notification Jan 12th ...but so far nothing in the mail. no news about biometrics appt.
