A big noooooooooo on getting pregnant (kudos to you though, one for the Queen and one for Obama...lol)...good grief, I'd rather the Kitchen Aid go on the blink before that would ever happen...that ship has passed, gone to sea, left the harbour, set sail and so on and so forth....suddenly leaving the house for gainful employment sounds terrific, thanks for the encouragement...ha ha

I am stoked to hear you got your letter of offer, that is fantastic. Even better that you will be able to get the paperwork off tomorrow...good stuff.

Hey if any of my patients die at least they arrested while they were laughing lol.

Do not blame you one bit for not wanting to populate the earth costly business and well the process is not pleasant lol. I wish I was one of those women that was happy during my pregnancy with being laid out in bed and having hyperemisis gravidarum ( vomiting 10 times a day every day for 4 months). Trust me it's enough to put anyone off. Put me off doing it again anyway. For all those women that had happy pregnancy good for you lol.

So what type of work you looking for?

Decided to fax it noticed on the paper they asked me to fax to the attention of a particular team I guess that's the people expediting. So did the fax tonight just got to wait and see now. I wonder how long it will take from here on. It does say on the job offer employment commences on the 14th April. Oh well hopefully next week.

just to update again, after getting notice (3/28) of my daughter's EAD/AP being approved, i got an email saying it was mailed out 4/2. So still hoping my son's and mine would be done next:)

in the off topic, hey CJC, nurseling and everybody else on this thread that might know of one, you think you guys have guy friends that may be interested to chat with a Filipina? my sister is killing me to introduce her to someone from here but i barely go out at all and have minimal friends in my hubby's area.

i know its a long shot but i figured it never hurts to ask....if anyone feels they know of someone, pls send me a private msg..thanks:)

and good luck to everyone else waiting:) i think the wait isnt that long anymore:)

I will sure keep a look out for your sister. I am still making friends here too I believe I will have plenty once I start working in the hospital so will see who is single and looking and let you know.

Also will be starting my masters program in family nurse practitioner soon in university so will meet more people there too. My employer is going to pay a a chunk of the tuition fee so that's very lucky for me.

Will keep you updated if I come across any singles.

Become a stalker on uscis website again waiting to see if status changes after faxing my expedite reply yesterday. Well maybe tomorrow or Friday.

Man alive Nurseling, almost every time I read your posts I choke on my water...refer your arresting patients with laughter...lol...lol...still laughing..

Jeepers on your pregnancies, tough sell that one....though your little ones I am sure are worth it all....as for me and kids, well it just didn't workout that way...perhaps one day I will be settled enough to get a cat....lol

On the work front, I am an Office Manager / Administrator / Executive Assistant by trade, so hopefully things will move well in gaining something there....I have international experience after all...lol

Awesome on getting that expedite off, it is likely you will hear something by the end of the week now that you have done that....woohoo.. My EAD/AP was approved last Thurs and I got a notice today that they posted it, I'll let you know how long it took to get to me when it arrives. I still stalk the postie, regardless...ha ha

On the connection front, I barely got mine right in the end so I am not sure how I'd go in connecting anyone else..lol, that said if I do hear anything as I make my way out in the world, I will keep you in mind... Don't ask don't get I always say..!

You should find a job easily you have experience loads job out there for your profession.

Plus your marketable you have that international know how behind you they will be throwing offers at you. Trust me still getting offers even though I already have one I have accepted.

Yes I would go with the cat if I was able to but can hardly swap the little rug rat I have at home now grown attached to his naughtiness lol.

Had so much doing procrastinated with the driving recently really got to get it going again. Now I can afford my new jeep end of may. Imagine little immigrant me with no EAD no green card no credit can afford a brand new jeep lol only in America!!!

Hello everyone,

I hope to get some ideas from you as we all filed almost at the same time. My I-485, I-130, and I-765 were sent on January, 16. I received the confirmation about the receipt of I-485, I-130 on January,21. Due to the missing signature and then due to somebody's mistake in USCIS my I-765 documents were received on February,26 but i received the notice reassuring me that my I-765 form will be processed at the same time with I-130.

This what I have for today:

My I-485 is still at the acceptance stage despite the fact that i had my biometrics taken on February,14. (My state is New York). Is it ok? I called USCIS but nobody could provide me with a good answer.

I checked my case status a week ago and discovered the following notice on March 20 your advanced parole document was produced, I didn't receive any notifications via e-mail but it doesn't matter. 11 days have passed and i even don't know whether that document was sent to me or not. I was pretty sure that i would receive a combo card and i didn't have any concerns about that because i received a notice which convinced me that my documents would not lose it's initial place. Has anyone had a similar case?

im here in NY as well and they are moving entirely slow. And i had my biometrics Feb 25th. and sent my packet out Jan 25

Now i can get hubby to work because she was getting miserable just staying home and being a house- husband. I praying yours come soon. Hopefully this week. Crossing fingers

Congratulations so happy to hear that. I guess my text should come tomorrow or day after since we have the same dates. There I was wasting time expediting when we are already close to normal processing. Keep us updated when you get the card.

sorry guys but i couldn't contain my excitement...finally, got an update email saying my son's EAD is now in card production....so i was feeling happy and sad coz his came thru but mine hasnt...then the following hour, my email notice came thru!!!! i cant believe it! on the same day!!!! so i bet yah nurseling, you are next!!!!

am just glad to share the news to everyone coz we are all in the same boat...and here is hoping those that are still waiting will hear the elusive news soon!!! In God's perfect time, never too early nor too late:)

Hey Guys - I might just be paranoid or anxious - but on the 26th our EAD status changed to Approved. Then on April 1, we got two updates. First, it says that the Card has been mailed to the address on file. Then a few minutes later it says That "We have mailed you a notice that we approved the I765". and is back to "Post Decision Activity". We don't have a tracking number either. After stalking the case status page and this forum, I can see that usually, the same day or within a day, once it says its been mailed, a Tracking Number is provided. And so many from the past two weeks have actually had their EAD cards in hand within 7-10 days. Now ours could still be in the mail, but I'm wondering why there is still no Tracking Number. Does this mean it hasn't been picked up by USPS? We called Customer Service, and it was Useless. The lady just read what was on the Case Status website and had no clue otherwise.

I was really hoping that we had it in our hands by end of this week. My husband has a job pending and was hoping to start Monday. Now who knows.
