It's been 'coming up' the last 30 years, each time a funding bill starts to get written, and it comes up in committee.

It's always a topic of Forced Sterilization for female welfare recipients who meet certain criteria.

A google search of 'Welfare Sterilization' would show you the news about it.

There's also been 31 states that have had laws on the books about forced sterilization based on IQ tests or the approval of a board of doctors at a hospital. Many have been overturned.

I would be a proponent of forced sterilization for female Welfare recipients, but throw in a caveat on the criteria - ie:

--more than 3 children currently or

--3 or more years of prior Welfare benefits usage.

It's a hot topic, to be certain, and to be honest, it's my opinion it's so emotionally charged that to talk of it here would be a huge waste of my time. Happy to talk of it elsewhere, but even then, it's only talking - and my opinion not matter one whit to the folk voting in the House and Senate.

I know, I get it, you two weren't so exposed to the news coverage when the position was brought up in the committee hearings during the funding rounds with the House and Senate - I'm not being coy or elusive - the info is out there. I am suggestion that usually in a species, those that adapt and flourish usually are the ones passing genetic materiel to the next generation.

Single unwed mothers are the main reason for poverty in the United States. If you choose to get bred as a woman to a man that has NO ability to support your child then who is to blame. Parents need to step in if their children start making life changing decisions.(government steps in today) . Stupid mistakes can go on for generations. Very few Chinese "tiger mothers" would allow their children to make the mistakes many families do in the west.
