police certificates- UK

hey there need a little help regarding for police certs if possible

Basically i lived in Sunderland from birth till 2003. then Scotland from 2003 until 2012

can anyone tell me if ill need certs from both places or just one.

and what the names are. some people telling me i need a form that costs £10 others the £45 one

also one form says Have you ever been Arrested, Cautioned, Warned or

Reprimanded or been Convicted of a criminal offence in

England, Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland? You must

declare all convictions including those you believe to be

spent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

not i did get a formal caution from the council. not the police.

do i note this?

You need http://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx this covers whole UK. It asks if you lived in Scotland and NI on page 5. This is the £45 form. £10 form is a subject access report if you'd need in addition if your ACRO police certificate would come back with "no live trace" or something other than "no trace"

I am not sure about council warning, probably no need to declare it unless it's on police records.

Correct.

You don't need to worry about paying for an extra copy either (Unless you want to). You'll only need to take original for your medical (they'll make a photocopy to keep) and original+Photocopy for your interview. (They'll keep photocopy)

yes just the one, you don't actually need the original for the medical a copy will do. I just offered a copy, which they then copied, although I had the original just in case, I just wanted to find out if a copy was fine. You DO need the original plus copy for the interview though.
