joint sponsor need help!!

i have a friend we both approved on our interview yesterday in manila but she got 221g because her husband need more income, she is asking for help her husband daughter is willing to be a joint sponsor but his daughter is not living with him, so can she still be a joint sponsor? is the embassy will accept that even she is not living with her father?

A United States Citizen can be a Sponsor. However the Philippines is in most cases does not really wanting to accept Sponsors.

Each Case is different. It does not matter where she lives. But remember, most VJ'ers will agree the Philippines is pretty tough on Joint Sponsors


Edit, this is not a K-1. This is Spousal. Yes, you can do this.

1/21/14...... k1 interview-Visa Approved

8/29/14...... Submitted AOS application
10/03/14.....Biometrics
01/07/15.....Received my EAD card

01/31/15..... I got my SSN from the mail

04/20/15......AOS Interview - Approved :star:

4/24/15 .......Got the Driving Permit Card

4/30/15 .......Green Card Received :) (Exp.4/20/17)

so you mean its not possible that the embassy manila will approve it?

For Spousal Visa. Joint Sponsor is allowed. It's normally the other option if your petitioner's finances fall below poverty guidelines. It's okay if the petitioner and the co-sponsor live in separate houses. It's not going to be an issue.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

this is there problem his daughter making 19,700k last year but this year the current is 27k but they will send the last year i think it wont be enough because the daughter include his son on tax, so they are thinking they will just send the lease of the house that her husband owned it and he is getting a 400dollars a month? do you think thts enough? and her husband pension is 19,032kdollars.. please we really need help so that they will send it this week
