mine took about 4 weeks. I requested the expedite to NVC before I got a NVC case #, used my USCIS case #. On the 3rd of January they requested more info and in the email was my case and inquiry #. The next business day they approved my request and have bypassed the NVC completely except for them mailing my petition to Manila. I do not have to do the DS-260 and 261 and 864 with the NVC, all gets done at the interview. Hopefully its in the mail on the way to Manila now and an interview squeezed in soon. Her status also changed automatically to IR-1, that and having my US citizen son in the Philippines may have contributed to this next step happening so quickly. One other note is when I called the NVC asking if they had my case # yet and they said no they also said I had to request the expedite again once I got the #, but...that was not the case as they did it immediately. Sweet!

Since i was waiting through Christmas and New Year I only called twice. Once two days before I got it and then finally when I got the number.

(On a side note, somehow my math was all screwed upoops8rh.gif . I received the MNL number 17 days after I got the text/email that it was mailed to the NVC. Not bad considering the holidays were stuffed in there)

Yes, considering the holiday mix there, 17 days is right in line.

I was just sitting here think wow 24 days for a TSC processed petition..

I usually tell people wait 10 calendar days from the date of receiving the text. Been pretty good time line so far.

Be happy your TSC. If you were CSC, you would be waiting 6 to 8 weeks for your MNL number.

Please keep in mind that some dates are only known after receipt of another document.
For example, the USPS Form 3811. The stamped receiving date was not know until the original Form 3811 was received on 07/13/2013 1:30 p/m CST.
