Who needs the refs when the opposing QB throws 4 interceptions? ;)

Besides, from what I saw, the refs weren't exactly biased with their missed, or non-calls.

Yeah, Andrew didn't luck out. But ever since last year, I have had trust issues with the NFL refs that's been hard to shake...

I hope Seattle get to the Game in February. good.gif

Denver - New England, I can't call. But I hope Peyton has a real stinker. devil.gif

Brady missed practice yesterday, supposedly due to illness. He sounded normal when interviewed today. I hope Peyton throws a few picks too. And Moreno fumbles a few times. And Manning gets sacked hard enough to send him into another time zone. And that Brady never gets touched, Blount rushes for 150 yds, Ridley for 100+ and Brady throws for 400.

Don't forget about Belicheat. He needs to have a good day too. He only has a few hours to get the spy cams set up. I imagine McDaniels' knowledge of the Bronco's facility will help out though.

Broncs have a weakness. Their secondary has lapses now and again. It just so happens that Brady is among the best at exploiting lapses in the secondary.

Manning though can hurt the Pats. The only key I have seen to beating Manning is to deny him the football. Pats are not really known as a grind it out team to run the clock out.

The Patriots held him to 150 yds when they played during the regular season. Even though they gave up 280+ yds on the ground, they still won, but that was here. NE has a much better running game now than they did in November. If the offensive line can do it's job and the defense doesn't let Manning pick them apart, I think NE can win. If it's a blow out, it will be Denver rolling it up. A close game, it's up for grabs. Manning has thrown a lot of interceptions in his career when facing NE. Denver has been very consistent all year. New England has been all over the place, but they kept winning. With the key injuries the Patriots have had this year, it's asking for a miracle to get to the Super Bowl. Put Gronk back in, it changes drastically. Ditto for Wilfork of Mayo. We don't have a receiving corps anymore. I just hope that Edelman and Amendola can produce once again. It's been a crazy season here.

More importantly, Peyton Manning has a weakness. Facing Tom Brady.

Whatever happens with the teams, their strengths, their weaknesses and their strategies, if Peyton Manning turns up and thinks "Time to get to another Super Bowl", the Broncos will walk away with the win. :(

If, however, he turns up and thinks "not f***ing Tom Brady again", then it will be the Pats playing in New Jersey in two weeks.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

NE has a good O line. Still think Brady can exploit the defense. Personally I am picking Denver because of the home field. Belichek will have the Pats ready.

I believe they will be ready to play too. I just hope they can execute as intended. I think they will try to establish the run game so that they can pass when they want, not because they have to. Having a good ground game really gives you a lot of options. I think that Belichik will concentrate on shutting Manning down and challenging his defense to stop the run. And that's why the Pat's will try to have a running game so they can control the ball and the clock. Manning can't hurt you when he's sitting on the sideline. The Pats don't have the weapons anymore to win a shootout.

Don't forget that Tom Brady is just as determined to get to the Super Bowl. And if he has instilled this in the rest of of his young teammates over the course of the last 6 weeks or so, it may not be a cake walk for Peyton. Belichik and Brady have been in Manning's head for most of his career. He hasn't done well against NE. But having said that, the Patriots are a shell of their former offensive selves. It took a lot of great coaching and determination to get to this game, and a lot of that will and determination comes from #`12. Peyton is not in his head.
