since no one tangled with Tiger Mom, I guess we can all assume she is right.... and Danno is a second class citizen.

It's ok, I am not hurt by it, we all know there is a hierarchy in life, and to be honest,

I never though I was more than halfway up the ladder, she just helped confirm it for me.

Anyway, the view is not bad from the halfway point.

She has put forward a point of view about what constitutes success and how various groups measure up to it based on criteria she chose to apply. Not sure what she is right about from that. Perhaps you can interpret if for me Danno, seeing as she agrees with you

The premise seems very flimsy to me and only works if you define 'success' in a very specific way. Human beings, relationships and social groups prove that success has many different measures and are not limited to financial and educational targets. I think that even the book sets limits on how much these measures of success are useful in the real world - they do in fact warn against using the ideas put forward as a blue print but rather suggest that they are guidelines only and that other more human traits should be included. Not something Danno quoted or believes I don't think.

Economic success.. Studies such as these are unfortunately pointless because even if you can get people to agree on numbers they simply fit them around personal beliefs. We don't do what the evidence says, we do what "feels" right or what we wished to be true.. The left can never accept an answer that does not involve those at lower end somehow being a victim of those higher up.. This retards any solution they may propose.
