i you want a Vice-Consul to make the time to review it, see the photos,

then it's best to include the photos

with the civil docs submission

for

the DS-260.

Having them on interview day is too late, the Vice-Consul only has about 4 minutes to make a decision on interview day, but note the casefile is inside the IV Unit about 24 days prior to the interview.

hello, meaning we need to send a picture as proof of relationship?ttogether with the civil documents?i thought for uscis stage only.thanks

No way do not send 300 pictures , I am not sure how many times you went to visit, but send 3 to 4 photos per visit. It was suggested by my attorney to have pictures with others in the background, no funny faced pictures b/c he said they were not appropriate . You can copy 4 to a page, write the dates , if you don't remember the exact dates put the month and your locations. You need more then just pictures . You need your passport stamps if any as well as your photo passport page , phone records , your air fare any records of money sent, any thing that you may have purchased together while on a visit.

When I had to send proof they asked for a maxium of 4 pictures and write on the back of the picture the names of people in picture and where you were. Also u need 2 people to write a small letter of your relationship. Make sure they include their names where they live and how they know you in the letter. The letter Does not need to be notarized. No they don't need 300 pictures. You can bring them to the interview if you like, but I don't know if they will look at them.

We didn`t send any bona fide evidence to USCIS or the NVC - I will take everything with me to the interview. We are also working with a lawyer. But like I said I don`t know if people from other countries should submit bona fide evidence at USCIS and NVC stage.

Of course they should submit at USCIS and if need be NVC. Why not?

One, submittinf evidence to show Bonafide relationship is listed in the requirements for I-130. Yes some get by USCIS with Approvals with just submitting a marriage certificate because of a lazy adjuducator. And guess what many of those approvals get denied at embassy sent back for lack of evidence.

A CO doesn't have hours to pour threw mounds of evidence on interview day. At best you get 5 to 10 minutes and really their mind is already made up before you step to the window

Many of us never even get the chance to show the evidence brought. Go research and read post after post how people were well prepared (K1's also) for interview with evidence and the CO wouldn't look at it. Some of the very things people have been denied for was in the evidence before them but it was never submitted so denial.

Your embassy is not a high fraud or tough so you will probably be okay most of us don't have that luxury to show a marriage certificate and be called a Bonafide Marriage.

My husband filed I-130 for me, his spouse and our priority date is December 17, 2013. Our case is transferred to Nebraska centre. Could you please help me, I have two questions.

1. Which documents should I prepare for the NVC (after the I-130 is approved)?

2. I heard that some of the documents have like, a `time-frame`, meaning that they have to be not more than 6 months old. Is this true and if it is, which date is the one that should be considered so that the documents are not old?

Thank you very much.

P.S. I am completely depressed because of the distance with my husband, so any ideas of what you people do meantime, are of huge value for me. God bless you and hope for the best for everyone.

Yes there's a time frame for police certificates. Expiry date is the date. It has to be current when you send to NVC.
