Its only been 2 weeks. Give it some time. Usually SSN comes 3 to 4 weeks, green card it varies. Long as you paid the fee have you been tracking it on the website to see if it says in production.

2 weeks was way to soon to be at the SS office. And your stamp in your passport is your temp green card. You could easily have asked for a supervisor that knows and show them the stamp. That will also work if you wanted to go back next week.

thats strange, becaus my husband just showed them the visa stamped in the passport, but of cousre he had to fill out the application too, but still he got his ss card within two to three weeks and his green card came about the same time as the ss card, wow. you have a mean person working in that offoce or they just dont know what they are doing at all. so just wait your green card will come soon. you can call the uscis and they will tell you a estimate date for your green card to arrive. so sorry to hear that.
