Case transferred

Hi people,

My case on January 03 was transferred to another office, ok i check today and it say this

On January 6, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete

OK this is updating to fast i think, so now that is in a local office, I suppose this should be in Atlanta, so how long will this process take to approve the case cause i have now 5 months and few days

I pray it really didn't go to Atlanta becuse you are looking at a year. There's a thread on VJ about that office. Most transferred I-130 petitions are going to eother TSC, CSC or BSC. You should probably get another email. Most people are getting 2 or 3. Pray so.

I got the same notice when my case was transferred, but it ended up at the California Service Center. I think the default verbage for the notice is "local USCIS Office", but it's not really where it's sent. You'll have to wait til you get your hard copy in the mail to know for sure.

My case was transferred after exactly 5 months of waiting, but I know that doesn't mean that's what happens to everyone else. Also, the California Service Center seems to be the one approving petitions quicker, so you'll see that everyone hopes to be transferred there. As mentioned above, mine was approved in just under two weeks at the CSC.

Ok today I check the site to see if there is any news and they update the information again and say this

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

3 Updates first say on January 3 was transferred to USCIS office, few days after it say, on January 6 was transferred to a local USCIS office and now it say is being processed at USCIS office not the local USCIS office how was in the update of January 6, maybe the system is crazy or are working in this case fast???

Hi guys,

Just to let you know that my case was transferred to Texas Service Center, hope this will be as fast as California center
