Hello,

Hoping for some help, great website.

My wife (USC) has only been in the UK for a short time (9 months) but we have decided to get the wheels in motion for a move back to the US.

We are planning to do a DCF to London as she meets the 6 month minimum criteria (FLR in April) and have a few questions.

When we file the I-130 what do we include? We have done the payment sheet, a biometrics form each, a copy of each passport, a copy of our marriage certificate, the i-130 itself and a copy of her residency information. But what else? Do we require evidence of having lived together (bills, lease etc) for the last 6 months at this stage or is this in the next set of paperwork? The checklist says not to include this yet..?

Also, domicile intent for her, is this later too?

Want to make sure we are preparing everything properly!

Many thanks,

Grayzer15

You'll find a checklist of docs to send on the embassy website (you'll find a link to this in my guide).

Domicile will come up at the interview, in conjunction with the I-864.

Good luck

The checklist for DCF differs slightly from regular I-130 filings, particularly in London as they request that you do NOT send relationship evidence, other than marriage cert. Evidence of residency in DCF country is also required.

Sorry but this last line, does that refer to my wife's visa/residency card? Or do you mean bills/lease etc?

Thanks for the responses folks!

Her visa/residency card. The checklist asks for evidence of UKBA entry clearance.
