Question on translating supporting doc such Emails

Hi all, my fiance and I are both Vietnames. We're preparing the I-129 and wanted to print out all of our e-mails as supporting documents for our relationship. Just a simple question. We both write in Vietnames so our emails are such, do we have to get these emails translated to english? if so can I do it myself?

Also I was just thinking of "print screen" option to show it was printed from my email address. Is this ok? or should I just copy all of our emails to a word doc and print so it looks neater? any tips?

I've just printed out all our emails by clicked print button on the upper right. Those were came out as how it appears when we read them.

Thanks. Ok, so i'll just use the print option. What about translating? Did you guys write in English? or did you write in your native language and if so did you have to get it translated?

I personally don't think it's necessary to translate. I use English with my wife and VN with my father in law. I'm not planning on doing any translating - they can see the history of contact and my wife can handle during the interview. Doubt it will come up though.

Here is my thought as I am starter in this process.... With out going into details i.e. into specific message, I would take screen shots of the page that shows when each message was received and sent. Go as far as the initial communication you started with your fiance. All you are trying to demonstrate here is you have had a continual relationship with your fiancee.. this is equivalent with the phone calls that only shows the dates and for how long you stayed on the phone. As for the detailed message, from what I heard, your fiance may need to print randomly from the communication and present it during the interview. The range should encompass from the beginning, middle and end of your relationships. Just a thought...

Samples are fine...if we printed the entire Skype log it would consume over 2,000 pages. That doesn't include emails and Viber. Simple selection from various time periods as you indicate is sufficient.

I copied and pasted all emails and Skype chats as they appear with evaders and/or time stamps,

and then printed in one batch (some 300 pages worth).

We wrote in English so no translation was needed but I am pretty sure I saw a requirement

on USCIS site indicating that all documents had yo translated into English.

The emails are not required for the I-129F petition, and the person that processes your file will probably not bother to read any of them. So, if you are wanting to 'front load' your petition with relationship evidence, then no reason to translate. Documents at the consulate are accepted in the native language or English.
